Greetings and thanks for stopping by!

A little bit about me....

I'm an IT Manager in Ohio where I live with my wife, two daughters, two dogs and two turtles.

My degree is actually in Chemistry, but after a few years as a scientific information editor, I found I liked technology better and my career drifted that direction.

Though not where my education and background lie, writing has been a hobby of mine for many years, but like so many other hobbies, life can sometimes get in the way.

As I'm sure many other authors have, I tried to just sit down and write novels.  I'd get only so far, the wrap myself up in frustration, curse (a lot) then set the project aside and move on to something different.

I didn't get serious about trying to have any of my work "in print" until the last couple of years.  I started reading more short stories and found the idea of writing something between 100 and 1000 words a heck of a lot less daunting than the next epic fantasy.  Much to my surprise, that worked out better than I thought.

I'm now dabbling in everything from micro/flash fiction to short stories.  I try various genres, but I'm a very big fan of science fiction and epic fantasy, so my tastes tend to gravitate there.
